Reliable and cost-effective isolation of plasmid DNA
PureLink™ Rapid Plasmid Miniprep Kit uses PureLink™ spin columns in 30- Isolate high-quality plasmid DNA from 1–5 mL of culture in 45 minutes. These columns use a unique silica membrane to obtain up to 40 µg of sequencing-grade plasmid DNA. Cells are lysed using an alkaline/SDS procedure and the lysate is loaded onto a silica membrane column capable of selectively binding plasmid DNA. Use wash buffer to remove contaminants and TE buffer to elute plasmid DNA. The eluted DNA is suitable for all routine downstream applications.
Compatible with flexible formats
PureLink™ Rapid Plasmid Miniprep Kits can be used with a centrifuge or vacuum manifold to purify plasmid DNA. Typically, when samples are diluted with Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), A260/A280 > 1.80, indicating that the DNA does not contain proteins that may interfere with downstream applications.
Isolated DNA can be used in a variety of downstream applications
