Traditional plasmid DNA precipitation methods for anion exchange separation include isopropanol precipitation, followed by centrifugation and drying of the DNA, which is a time-consuming and laborious process. Using PureLink™ HiPure Precipitant enables plasmid DNA concentration in 5 minutes, eliminating the need for centrifugation and reducing the risk of losing the DNA pellet during supernatant removal. With recovery rates >80%, the resulting plasmid DNA is ready for use in challenging applications such as transfection.
