Thermo Scientific RevertAid Master Mix is a complete system for efficient synthesis of first-strand cDNA using RNA as a template. This master mix contains RevertAid reverse transcriptase (RT), which has lower RNase H activity than AMV reverse transcriptase. This master mix is a convenient two-tube master mix that contains all the components required for cDNA synthesis reactions. It is optimized for efficient cDNA synthesis and is suitable for two-step quantitative RT-PCR (RT-qPCR) applications. The dual-tube formulation provides shorter reaction times and requires fewer pipetting steps than the RevertAid RT kit, while maintaining high performance.
