NuPAGE Transfer Buffer (20X) is used to transfer proteins from NuPAGE Bis-Tris and NuPAGE Tris-Acetate gels onto a membrane for Western blot analysis. It maintains a specified neutral pH environment during electrophoresis. Neutral pH conditions protect amino acid side chains from modification and are compatible with Edman-degraded N-terminal protein sequencing.
