Thermo Scientific 6X Orange Loading Dye is used to prepare DNA markers for loading on agarose or polyacrylamide gels objects and samples. This product contains two different dyes (xylenocyanine FF and Orange G) for visual monitoring of DNA migration during electrophoresis. Glycerol ensures that the ladder and DNA in the sample settle at the bottom of the well. EDTA contained in the solution can bind to divalent metal ions and inhibit metal-dependent nucleases.
