Thermo Scientific RiboRuler Low Range RNA Molecular Weight Standard is composed of 7 single-stranded RNA transcripts (100-1000 bp) mixture. These transcripts are chromatographically purified and generated from a specific template containing a pTZ19R multisite adapter fragment and a Lambda phage fragment, which makes them free of NTPs and RNA degradation products. The concentration of each RNA transcript was determined spectrophotometrically. To minimize the possibility of contamination during use, aliquot molecular weight standards into smaller volumes.
