IHC Antigen Retrieval Solution - Low pH (10X) Designed for use on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections Used in the heat-induced epitope retrieval (HIER) step prior to performing immunohistochemical analysis. This buffer has been shown to restore protein antigenicity modified during formalin fixation of tissue when used in conjunction with a heat source (usually via microwave, water bath, or pressure cooker). This buffer is supplied as a 10X stock solution. Dilute this buffer 1X with reagent grade water to obtain a 10 mM sodium citrate solution, pH 6.0.
