Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) Solution (500X) is a solution derived from Escherichia coli 026:B6 Ready-to-use LPS aqueous solution. LPS is a major component of the cell wall of Gram-negative bacteria. It is highly immunogenic and can potently activate immune cells carrying the CD14/TLR4/MD2 receptor complex. This reagent is designed for in vitro culture of B cells, monocytes, macrophages, and other cells responsive to LPS.
