DynaMag™-96 side magnetic stand optimized to pull all types of Dynabeads™ (diameter range 1–4.5 µm) To the sides of the PCR tube or the wells in a 96-well plate. Designed for use with automated platforms (e.g. Tecan) and manual workflows, this magnet is not compatible with PCR tubes, but is compatible with PCR strips and 96-well plates (200 µL), with both unguarded and semi-guarded rims available.

Efficient mixing without sample handling
The magnet has additional columns (13 in total). This allows sample mixing to be easily achieved by moving the 96-well plate back and forth from the right-most to the left-most position. This movement draws the beads back and forth through the sample, allowing for mixing without handling, speeding up processing and reducing variability caused by sample handling.

Processing Volume
When used in conjunction with the DynaMag™-96 bottom magnet on an automated platform, two magnets allow for significant volume changes in the workflow.
