Use Dynabeads Protein A (10001D and 10002D), Dynabeads Protein G (10003D and 10004D), or one of the Dynabeads Immunoprecipitation Kits (10006D and 10007D)

Overview of the coupling procedure:< br>Any purified antibody can be covalently coupled to the bead surface via an easy-to-perform overnight reaction. Simply incubate the antibodies to be used in the cell isolation process with these 4.5 µm Dynabeads™. Optimal coupling occurs at high pH (8.5-9.5) and 37°C. For pH-labile antibodies, coupling can be performed in other buffers at pH 7.4.

About Dynabeads™:
Dynabeads™ are nonporous monodisperse superparamagnetic microbeads. They are highly mobile in solution, allowing antibodies coupled to the beads to continuously interact with the cell suspension. When placed in a magnetic field, these 4.5 µm superparamagnetic beads experience strong attraction; when the test tube is transferred to a tube rack containing a strong magnetic field, the beads gently draw target cells to the tube wall. The beads and attached cells are concentrated on the tube wall, so the supernatant containing non-target cells can be poured off or aspirated easily and quickly. The washing steps are similar.

• Coated with glycidyl ether (epoxy resin) groups
• Hydrophilic, medium pH Properties
• Covalent coupling via primary amine (NH2) or sulfhydryl (SH) groups
• Large 4.5 µm bead size ideal for cell separation
• For IP applications, 4.5 µm is not recommended of large microbeads
