Gibco™ HBSS is manufactured in a cGMP quality management facility in Grand Island, New York. The factory is an FDA-registered medical device manufacturer and is certified to the ISO 13485 standard. To ensure supply chain stability, we also offer the same Gibco™ HBSS product (14185-045) manufactured in our Scottish factory. The facility is an FDA-registered medical device manufacturer and certified to the ISO 13485 standard.

Gibco™ HBSS concentrate needs to be prepared by adding sodium bicarbonate, adjusting the pH value and filtering (see Experimental Protocol).
