Dynabeads™ Antibody Conjugation Kit allows easy conjugation of the antibody of your choice to uniform 2.8 µm superparamagnetic Dynabeads™ M-270 epoxy bead surface. After antibody immobilization, the beads can be used for experiments such as immunoassays, immunoprecipitation (IP), co-immunoprecipitation of protein complexes (co-IP), co-immunoprecipitation of protein-nucleic acid complexes, and many other downstream applications. The Dynabeads™ epoxy beads in this kit are Tween™ detergent-free and are ideal for mass spectrometry (MS) analysis. In addition to Dynabeads™, the kit provides all buffers required for coupling and washing steps. Note that the SB buffer provided in the kit contains Tween™ detergent, so if the kit is used for MS, the SB buffer needs to be replaced with standard TBS or PBS buffer.

Efficient and easy to couple
Antibodies are covalently coupled to Dynabeads™ M-270 epoxy resin beads to Minimize the risk of bound antibodies contaminating the final eluate. Dynabeads™ M-270 epoxy beads provide ultra-low background binding and do not require blocking prior to use. Other proteins such as lectins and enzymes may also be conjugated using the same beads, buffers, and protocols (depending on the stability and functionality of the protein/ligand you are using).

Magnetic bead-based separation is easy to perform
Captured proteins and protein complexes can be easily separated, washed and eluted using the DynaMag™ magnetic stand and Dynabeads™ magnetic separation properties. The included buffers are optimized to provide consistent and reliable results, and the kit includes 5 different binding, wash, and elution buffers in addition to Dynabeads™ M-270 Epoxy Resin. The only product that needs to be provided is the antibody.
