RiboMinus™ Transcriptome Isolation Kit is a novel purification system that removes large ribosomal RNA from total RNA samples molecules to enrich the entire RNA transcript profile. These kits use a 5µ biotin-labeled locked nucleic acid (LNA) probe specific for large rRNA to remove 95%-98% of rRNA molecules from total human, mouse, bacterial, or yeast RNA (Figure 1). This removal increases the expression of RNA transcript species, including non-poly(A)-tailed preprocessed RNAs, small tRNAs, siRNAs, snRNAs, microRNAs, fragmented mRNAs, and other regulatory RNAs that cannot be purified by poly(A) selection methods. .

The RiboMinus™ Transcriptome Isolation Kit enables:
