UltraPure™ Salmon Sperm DNA Solution is a sheared, ready-to-use DNA solution that can be used directly to prepare prehybridizations and hybridization solution. The DNA solution is prepared from high-purity DNA extracted using phenol/chloroform and DNase- and RNase-free (DEPC-treated) deionized distilled water. DNA is sheared to an average size of ≤ 2,000 bp. Adjust the concentration to 10 mg/mL.

Application
This type of solution is used to block non-specific adsorption of probes to the membrane surface.
