CSM Medium for Mav203 Yeast Cells is a specially designed medium to prepare culture
Agar plates of S. cerevisiaeMaV203 cells. This product comes with sufficient reagents to prepare 2 liters of solid culture medium, containing the following components per liter:
• CSM (without tryptophan): 0.74 g
• Yeast Nitrogen Basal Medium : 6.66 g
• Ammonium sulfate: 5 g
• Glucose: 20 g
• Agar: 20 g
Compatible with all MaV203 applicationsCSM Medium is optimized for the
GeneArt™ Advanced Genetic Assembly System, including use with
GeneArt™ Advanced Vector Transformation Cassette Recovery rate of vector transformation after adapting the vector to yeast. This medium can also be used to culture MaV203 competent yeast cells, including
library and
Subclonal scale (Cat. Nos. 11281-011 and 11445-012).
Plate preparation protocolUse 1 bag of CSM-Trp agar yeast medium (without glucose) and 1 bottle of 20% glucose per liter. Dissolve the contents of the bag in 900 mL of distilled water and autoclave for 20 minutes while circulating the liquid. Cool the solution to 55°C and add a vial of 20% glucose (100 mL). Mix thoroughly and pour slab.
