PowerUp™ SYBR™ Green Master Mix is a preformulated, optimized, universal 2X master mix for real-time fluorescence quantification PCR workflow. Combined with user-supplied primer sets and templates, PowerUp™ SYBR™ Green Master Mix is designed to amplify targets for precise gene expression analysis.
PowerUp™ SYBR™ Green Master Mix features include:
• Dual hot-start mechanism with excellent specificity
• Highly reproducible CT over a wide dynamic range
• Contains UDG to help prevent carryover contamination
• Stability of pre-assembled reactions up to 72 hours
• Compatible with most real-time qPCR instruments
Excellent specificity of dual hot-start mechanism Specificity is key to obtaining high-quality data from SYBR™ Green reactions and can be enhanced by controlling Taq DNA polymerase at a lower temperature before stringent primer binding. PowerUp™ SYBR™ Green Mix features Dual-Lock™ Taq DNA Polymerase, which combines two unique hot-start mechanisms to help control its activity and prevent unwanted early activity of the polymerase at low temperatures. In experiments evaluating 24 different primer sets, PowerUp™ SYBR™ Green Master Mix generated a single melt curve consistent with highly specific amplification 100% of the time
CT over a wide dynamic range Tightly ReproduciblePowerUp™ SYBR™ Green Master Mix demonstrates excellent reproducibility over a wide dynamic range for a variety of tested targets (as shown). In addition, this master mix can achieve high-efficiency amplification at 6 logarithmic loading volumes. Unlike other competing product mixes, in dynamic range experiments, PowerUp™ SYBR™ Green master mix did not exhibit inhibition under high cDNA loading amounts and low correlation coefficients, and maintained stable efficiency in the full dynamic range, extremely The reliability of data quality is ensured to the greatest extent (as shown in the figure).
Contains UDG for residual contamination controlUracil-DNA glycosylase (UDG) and dUTP are added to PowerUp™ SYBR™ Green master mix to degrade any Previously amplified PCR products help prevent subsequent qPCR reaction contamination and possible false positive results
Master Mix Reaction StabilityPowerUp™ SYBR™ Green Master Mix The tight control of Dual-Lock™ Taq DNA Polymerase allows reactions to be mixed for up to 72 hours before cycling without affecting the data (as shown). This consistency enables users to use PowerUP™ SYBR™ Green Master Mix reliably and flexibly in many workflow scenarios.
Compatible with multiple instrumentsPowerUp™ SYBR™ Green Master Mix can be used in standard or fast cycling modes and is compatible with all Applied Biosystems™ real-time PCR instruments2 . It is also compatible with Bio-Rad IQ™5 and CFX96™ /CFX384™ systems, Roche LightCycler™ LC480 and Stratagene™ MX3005P™ systems. To ensure optimal results, the recommended primer concentration is 300–800 nM.
Learn more about PowerUp™ SYBR™ Green Master Mix> 1 The stability of Pre-PCR is not only affected by the master mix, but also by the target being analyzed. To ensure excellent confidence, researchers should validate their own target-specific stability curves.
2 To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to use the Applied Biosystems™ 7900 system for standard cycling.
