PolyA Tailing Kit for use with E. coliPolyadenylate polymerase I (E-PAP) polyadenylates the 3' end of in vitro transcribed RNA. Polyadenylation plays an important role in stabilizing RNA in eukaryotes and improves translation initiation efficiency. In the PolyA Tailing Kit, theE-PAP reaction has been optimized to efficiently tail the mRNA with at least 150 adenines. The additional adenine residues confer stability to the mRNA and increase the translation efficiency of in vitro synthesized cap RNA in microinjection and transfection experiments (see figure).
