RevitaCell™ Supplement (100X) is optimized for use with pluripotent stem cells (PSCs) as a post-thaw recovery solution , to increase cell viability, or used in combination with Essential 8™ Medium to enhance single-cell passaging applications. It can also be used for the recovery of primary neurons, a type of cell that has traditionally been difficult to efficiently recover. Significant improvements in these applications are due to the availability of more specific ROCK inhibitors and molecules containing antioxidant and free radical scavenging properties, thereby minimizing the impact of stress on cells.

Single cell passaging
Single Use RevitaCellTM supplement 18-24 hours after cell passaging to greatly increase cell survival. Cells appear to reach passage confluence within 3-4 days after feeding.
Higher Specificity
Pro-survival small molecules in RevitaCell™ supplements compared to traditional ROCK inhibitors (i.e. Y-27632 and Thiazovivin) Kinase profiling showed higher specificity.
Faster post-thaw recovery
During the first 24 hours of post-thaw recovery, use medium supplemented with RevitaCell™ Supplement at 40,000 viable cells/cm< sup>2 Recovering PSCs and then rearing them in supplement-free Essential 8™ Medium typically reaches 80% confluence in <5 days, significantly shortening the life of most cryopreservation solutions. Average recovery time after thawing. Neuronal neurite growth was also significantly improved when using RevitaCell™ supplements.
