PowerTrack SYBR Green Master Mix is a pre-prepared, optimized universal 2X master mix for real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR detection , and provides built-in visual dye-indicators for precise reaction setup. PowerTrack SYBR Green Master Mix combines user-supplied primer sets and templates designed to amplify targets for accurate gene expression analysis.

Built-in visual indicator
PowerTrack SYBR Green Master Mix contains an inert blue dye that does not interfere with real-time PCR, providing greater visibility in the tube or well. A separate sample buffer containing an inert yellow dye is also available. Using this yellow sample buffer will result in a reaction mixture that changes from blue to green after loading, helping to avoid pipetting errors. Yellow sample buffer helps with reaction setup, but PowerTrack SYBR Green Master Mix is not required to achieve excellent results.
Formulation with greater specificity and reproducibility
PowerTrack SYBR Green Master Mix contains Taq DNA polymerase and is tightly controlled through an antibody-mediated hot-start mechanism , helps prevent unwanted premature activity of the polymerase at low temperatures, thereby avoiding non-specific amplification. PowerTrack SYBR Green Master Mix is designed to provide you with superior performance in your most challenging real-time PCR applications.
Broad instrument compatibility
PowerTrack SYBR Green Master Mix can be used in standard or fast cycling modes and is compatible with all Applied Biosystems real-time PCR instruments. It is also compatible with Bio-Rad CFX96™, CFX384™ and iQ™5; Roche LightCycler™480 and Agilent MX3005P™ systems. For best results, primer concentration should be in the range of 300–800nm.
