Two formulations
The master mix is available in two formulations:
• TaqPath Bactopure Microbial Detection Master Mix containing ROX dye as an inert reference dye is recommended for use in single Pass (1 probe) and up to three pass (3 probes) reactions
• TaqPath Bactopure Microbial Detection Master Mix (ROX-free), does not contain inert reference dye, recommended for use with JUN (or similar emission wavelength) dyes, or for advanced multi-pass detection (>3 targets)

Consistent low-level detection
TaqPath BactoPure Microbial Detection Master Mix Optimized , which enables highly reproducible, low-level detection from a variety of samples. While other commercially available mixes contain DNA background that can lead to ambiguous results (below), each batch of TaqPath BactoPure Master Mix is tested in a panel of reagents to demonstrate that it is free of this background prior to release. This allows TaqPath BactoPure Master Mix to reliably detect and quantify low-concentration samples, as shown below. The graph below also shows consistent Cq results from multiple assays of three unique batches, maximizing the confidence of your results and highlighting the excellent batch-to-batch consistency of TaqPath BactoPure Master Mix.

Tolerant to PCR Inhibitors
The unique and proprietary TaqPath BactoPure Master Mix formulation provides robust performance even in the presence of substances that inhibit PCR (below), thus Efficient detection of templates in purified DNA and crude lysates, as shown below.

Wide Linear Dynamic Range
TaqPath BactoPure Microbial Detection Master Mix has been validated to have a wide linear dynamic range (up to 8 log units), thus Capable of accurate detection using low and high DNA concentration samples. This reagent can be used on a variety of qPCR platforms and can be used under fast or standard cycling conditions. The graph below shows the excellent PCR linearity of the whole bacteria assay over an input range of 8 log units.

Optimized for multi-pass detection
TaqPath BactoPure Microbial Assay Master Mix is validated for multi-pass detection of up to 4 targets in a single reaction, enabling simultaneous Run additional assays and/or control assays to increase efficiency. The figure below illustrates this multipass assay capability by comparing performance between single pass and multipass reactions.
