Ambion™ poly(A) polymerase catalyzes the addition of adenosine to the 3' end of RNA in a sequence-independent manner . This enzyme can be used to add radioactively labeled ATP to the 3' end of an RNA molecule, producing labeled RNA. Supplied in single tubes containing 80 U (2 U/ µL), 5X poly(A) polymerase buffer, and 25 mM MnCl₂. This enzyme can be used with terminal transferase, reverse transcriptase and thermostable polymerase to clone unknown sequence RNA.
