Ambion™ Biotinylated UTP is ideal for use in vivoexternal Substrate for the transcription reaction. These modified nucleotides can be utilized by a variety of RNA polymerases, including T7, T3, and SP6 RNA polymerases, as well as other RNA-modifying enzymes. It is supplied in a tube containing 25 μL (250 nmol). Biotinylated RNA can be used to replace radiolabeled RNA in many applications, including cRNA amplification and labeling for microarray target preparation. Subsequently, detection was performed by various streptavidin-based methods. The Bio-UTP was confirmed to be free of non-specific endonuclease, exonuclease and RNase activity and functionally tested using the MessageAmp™ II aRNA Amplification Kit (SKU# AM1751).
