These tyramide reagents are used in tyramide signal amplification (TSA), also known as catalytic reporter deposition (CARD). Signals can be amplified up to 200 times using TSA compared to standard imaging methods. These reagents are available individually or as part of our SuperBoost™ Tyramide Signal Amplification Kit (available separately). They can be used with any antibody conjugated to HRP for tyramide signal amplification to detect low-abundance targets. In multi-channel fluorescence immunocytochemistry (ICC), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH), up to 7 channels of detection can be achieved.
Features include:
• Fluorescence imaging provides excellent sensitivity for low-level or difficult-to-detect targets
• Use of standard filters enables simple protocols and detection
• Suitable for high-resolution multi-pass images—co-labeled with TO-PRO-3, secondary antibodies, and other SuperBoost kits
• 1/10–1/100 of the primary antibodies required for standard ICC/IHC/ISH experiments
When used as directed, tyramide reagent can increase sensitivity up to 200 times that of standard imaging methods. These reagents help optimize results, allowing for clear visualization of critical areas that cannot be demonstrated by standard imaging methods. They are simple to use and easily adaptable to standard ICC, IHC or FISH protocols and can be used with any cell or tissue type. Tyramide reagent-labeled cells can be imaged using any type of microscope, producing high-resolution, multi-pass images.
