CellROX™ Green detection reagent is cell permeable and emits no or very weak fluorescence while in a reduced state. After oxidation, the reagent binds to DNA and exhibits a strong fluorescence signal with a maximum absorption/emission wavelength of 508/525 nm and remains localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. When used with the included SYTOX™ Red Dead Cell Stain, reliably differentiates oxidatively stressed and non-stressed cells from dead cells by flow cytometric analysis.
