NuPAGE Tris-acetic acid SDS running buffer (20X) is designed for the separation of denatured proteins on Tris-acetic acid gels Preparation. NuPAGE Tris-acetate gels are used with NuPAGE Tris-acetate SDS running buffer to provide excellent separation of large molecular weight proteins. NuPAGE Tris-acetate gels can also be used with Novex Tris-Glycine native electrophoresis buffer to separate native proteins more efficiently than Tris-Glycine gel systems.

Recommended buffer
It is advisable to use NuPAGE Tris-acetic acid SDS electrophoresis buffer to run NuPAGE Tris-acetic acid gel; if you need to ensure good sample reduction effect and band resolution , NuPAGE LDS sample buffer should be used. For native electrophoresis conditions, Tris-glycine native electrophoresis and sample buffer should be used.
