DiFMUP is a fluorinated 4-methylumbelliferone phosphate (MUP) derivative with a pKa lower than MUP, which makes DiFMUP an excellent substrate for the continuous determination of acid phosphatase at low pH. The maximum excitation/emission wavelength of the DiFMUP reaction product is ∼358/450 nm. DiFMUP is also available in ten-vial packages of 10 mg per vial (D-22065).
