Thermo Scientific RevertAid Reverse Transcriptase (RT) is recombinant M-MuLV RT. Its structure and catalytic properties are different from M-MuLV RT. This enzyme not only has RNA-dependent and DNA-dependent polymerase activities, but also has specific RNase H activity on RNA in RNA-DNA hybrids, and its activity is significantly lower than that of avian myeloblastosis virus (AMV) reverse transcriptase .
