FluoZin™-3 indicator is a Zn²⁺ Selective indicators. FluoZin™-3 exhibits high Zn²⁺ binding affinity that is unaffected by Ca²⁺ concentrations up to at least 1 µM. Furthermore, FluoZin™-3 showed a >50-fold increase in fluorescence at Zn²⁺ saturation levels. Although FluoZin™-3 is primarily used for imaging applications, cell-based microplate assays and flow cytometric analysis solutions have also been developed. FluoZin™-3 indicator is available in cell-permeable and cell-impermeable formats.
