Thermo Scientific Phusion High-Fidelity DNA Polymerase sets the "gold standard" for efficient PCR. Phusion High-Fidelity DNA Polymerase has an error rate that is 1/50 that of
Taq and 1/6 that of
Pfu, making it ideal for cloning and other applications requiring high fidelity. Best choice. Phusion DNA Polymerase provides robust performance, short protocol times (even in the presence of PCR inhibitors), and can achieve higher yields using less enzyme than other DNA polymerases.
Product Advantages• Construct reactions at room temperature
• No non-specific amplification and primer degradation during reaction construction
• With unique Hot start technology, no need to wait for reactivation
• High fidelity (52X Taq)
• Short extension time (15-30 s/kb) for fast PCR
• Robust reaction with almost no need Optimized
• Allows for higher product yields using the least amount of enzyme
• Can be loaded directly onto the gel
Phusion Hot Start II High-Fidelity DNA Polymerase Powered by Phusion DNA Polymerase It is mixed with a reversibly binding specific Affibody ligand (which can inhibit DNA polymerase activity at room temperature), so it will not produce non-specific products when amplified with it. Affibody ligands also inhibit the 3´→5´ exonuclease activity of the polymerase, thereby preventing primer and template DNA degradation during reaction setup. At temperatures that promote polymerase activity, the ligand is released, allowing full activation of the polymerase. Phusion Hot Start II DNA Polymerase reactivates immediately at high temperatures, eliminating the need for a separate activation step in the PCR protocol.
Phusion Green Hot Start II High-Fidelity PCR Master Mix is a convenient 2X mix designed to minimize pipetting steps. The master mix contains Phusion Hot Start II DNA Polymerase, nucleotides, and optimized reaction buffer (including MgCl
2). The buffer also contains a density reagent and two tracking dyes for direct gel loading of PCR products.
