The Thermo Scientific GeneJET Gel Extraction Kit is designed for use with standard or low-melting agarose gels run from TAE or TBE buffers Quickly and efficiently purify DNA fragments in gel.

This kit uses proprietary silica membrane technology in a convenient spin column format. This kit can be used to purify DNA fragments ranging in size from 25 bp to 20 kb with recovery rates up to 95%. Each GeneJET column has a DNA binding capacity of up to 25 μg and can process agarose gels up to 1 g. The entire process takes only 15 minutes, and the isolated DNA is ready for all common downstream applications, including ligation, restriction enzyme digestion, PCR, sequencing, and labeling.
