Use Thermo Scientific™ Polyspring plastic inserts with 2 mL screw-top, crimp-top, or snap-top vials to maximize injection volumes when analyzing <2 mL samples. An integrated Polyspring on the bottom of the insert surrounds the vial insert, ensuring a good seal on the vial cap and providing cushioning when the needle makes contact. The total volume of these plastic inserts is <400 µL, with a minimum residual volume of 2 µL. Microsampling can be used in conventional autosampler trays when placed and sealed in 2 mL vials. These plug-ins are Performance Level 2, which means they are designed to ensure high-quality data with uninterrupted workflow in high-throughput applications. The specifications of such products are certified to ensure physical dimensions.
