Process Overview
Bacterial cells are pelleted, resuspended and lysed. The lysates are then neutralized and conditions adjusted for subsequent binding. After centrifugation, the lysates are processed through PureLink spin columns. The DNA binds to the silica membrane in the column and impurities are removed in a single wash step. The DNA is then eluted in elution buffer or water.
