PureLink™ HiPure Plasmid Maxiprep Kit is designed to isolate transfection grade from E. coli Plasmid DNA. The Maxiprep Kit protocol typically yields 500–850 µg of plasmid DNA from 100–200 mL of bacterial culture, with a purity comparable to that obtained by two passes through a cesium chloride gradient.
Advantages of the PureLink™ HiPure Plasmid Maxiprep Kit include:
•Effort and time saving — no additional steps required to remove the content Toxins and other contaminants
• High purity, low endotoxin product — pure enough to transfect mammalian cells
• Versatility — can purify any type and sized plasmid DNA, including BAC, bacmid, and ssM13 DNA
Anion Exchange Chromatography for Plasmid Purification
PureLink™ HiPure Plasmid DNA Purification Kits use patented Anion exchange resin purifies plasmid DNA to a level equivalent to two passes through a CsCl gradient. The resin combines exceptional capacity with fast flow rates, high resolution, high yields and efficient endotoxin removal. Plasmid preparation is typically completed within 2 hours.
Contaminant-free DNA
Unlike cesium chloride gradient protocols, the PureLink™ HiPure Plasmid Purification System does not use organic solvents, ethidium bromide or cesium chloride, all of which Reagents are troublesome to operate and handle. Generally, the A260/A280 ratio of plasmid DNA prepared using the PureLink™ HiPure Plasmid Midiprep Kit is > 1.80, indicating that the DNA does not contain possible interference under reasonable circumstances. Proteins for downstream applications. Endotoxin levels are typically within 0.1–1 EU/µg, making this plasmid DNA ideal for transfection of mammalian cells
