The Quant-iT OliGreen ssDNA Assay Kit contains an ultrasensitive green fluorescent nucleic acid stain that quantifies oligonucleotides and single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) in solution. Quant-iT™ OliGreen™ ssDNA Assay Reagent allows researchers to analyze oligonucleotides or ssDNA as low as 1 ng/mL (200 pg in a 200 µL assay volume) using the excitation and emission wavelengths of a fluorescent microplate reader Quantitative. This sensitivity exceeds the absorbance method by a factor of 10,000.

In addition to the dye, the OliGreen ssDNA Assay Kit also includes buffers and oligonucleotide standards. OliGreen reagents are also available as stand-alone Quant-iT OliGreen ssDNA reagents.
