Cell Imaging Applications
Image-iT™ FX Signal Enhancer is a product that effectively blocks background staining caused by Caused by non-specific interactions between various fluorescent dyes and cellular and tissue components. Background staining caused by the use of streptavidin fluorescent conjugates and antibody conjugates can be largely eliminated when using Image-iT™ FX Signal Enhancer on fixed, permeabilized cells prior to staining.

Usage Recommendations
•Apply Image-iT™ FX Signal Enhancer directly to slides or coverslips coated with cell or tissue samples prior to immunostaining piece.
•After the fixation/permeabilization step, simply wash, add enough drops to cover the sample, incubate for 30 minutes and proceed with normal staining.
•If needed, additional blocking steps can be performed after blocking with Image-iT™ signal enhancer ReadyProbes™ reagent
