Thermo Scientific GeneRuler DNA Ladder Mix is recommended for determination of double-stranded DNA in agarose gels ranging from 100 bp to 10,000 bp. size and rough quantification. DNA molecular weight standards consist of 21 DNA fragments and contain 6X TriTrack DNA loading dye.

Product Usage
This double-stranded DNA molecular weight standard is identical to the 1% standard and Precast agarose slab gels are compatible and can be visualized after ethidium bromide or SYBR Safe staining. Due to the uniform band intensity and bright reference band, sizing and orientation can be easily performed. A defined amount of DNA in each band allows for approximate quantification of sample DNA.
