Tubulin Tracker Deep Red emits deep red/far-red fluorescence upon binding to polymerized tubulin in living cells. Tubulin Tracker Deep Red is based on docetaxel conjugated to a bright, photostable deep red fluorophore. Docetaxel belongs to a family of cytoskeletal drugs that target tubulin. Tubulin Tracker Deep Red's ideal absorption and emission spectra are 652 nm and 669 nm, respectively, and can be imaged using virtually any fluorescence imaging instrument with a standard Cy5 filter set. It can be used with blue, green, orange, red and near-infrared fluorophores for multiplex analysis.
