This 1X red blood cell (RBC) lysis buffer is formulated to work in mouse hematopoietic tissues such as spleen and human peripheral blood. Achieve better red blood cell lysis effect in single cell suspension. This buffer contains ammonium chloride and when used according to the instructions ensures that the effect on lymphocytes is minimized when lysing red blood cells. Ammonium chloride is ineffective in lysing nucleated red blood cells.
