Product Usage
Double-stranded DNA molecular weight standards can be visualized on 4–5% agarose gels after staining with ethidium bromide or SYBR Safe. This molecular weight standard is designed with DNA bands of uniform intensity, making it easy to see each band clearly. The exact amount of DNA in each band allows for approximate quantification of sample DNA.
This molecular weight standard can be radiolabeled using T4 polynucleotide kinase or T4 DNA polymerase.
