The PichiaPink™ Secretion Signal Set is a set of 8 DNA fragments encoding secretion signal sequences. PichiaPink™ Secretion Signal Sets are designed to be easily attached to the front of genes. The PichiaPink™ Secretion Signal Set is designed for use with pPINK-HC and pPINK-LC vectors.

Optimize secretion of your expressed protein
By adding one of 8 secretion signal sequences to your gene, you can secrete your protein into the culture medium , to facilitate harvesting and purification. Pichia pastoris secretes very few natural proteins, so most of the proteins in the culture medium are the ones you need.

Each DNA sequence encodes a different secretion signal. You can examine each secretion signal sequence to find the one that is more effective for your protein.

Easily Add Secretion Signal to Your Protein
PichiaPink™ Secretion Signal Set DNA Fragments Designed to easily insert in front of your gene when using pPINK-HC or pPINK-LC vectors. You can try different secretion signal sequences to determine which one results in better secretion of your protein.

Each signal sequence includes the Kozak sequence from the AOX1 gene of Pichia pastoris to ensure efficient translation of the protein.

The secretion signal sequence is presented as a phosphorylated double-stranded oligomer in a 40 pmol aliquot. Resuspend oligomers in 40 µl TE buffer before use.
