Ambion® 96-well Magnetic Ring Holder is designed for paramagnetic bead precipitation in standard 96-well U-bottom microplates . The rack has a plastic base that fits a standard SBS 96-well microtiter plate footprint. Quick and easy magnetic separation is achieved using 96 extremely strong permanent magnetic rings. When using this magnetic stand, paramagnetic beads in the U-shaped bottom plate will settle into rings with a diameter of ∼6 mm, allowing easy removal of the supernatant with automated or multichannel pipettes. Place it flat on a laboratory bench or in a microtiter plate adapter on an automated workstation.
