CellTrace™ Yellow Cell Proliferation Kit is suitable for labeling cells in vitro and in vivo using a dye dilution method by flow cytometry The analysis tracks cells over multiple generations. This reagent is specially designed for 532 nm or 561 nm laser excitation and is easy to use with other commonly used laser excitation reagents and antibodies for multiplex analysis.
•Excellent performance—Bright, single-peak staining enables visualization of cells over multiple generations
•Long-term signal stability—After staining, the dye remains Retain in cells for days
•Versatility—available in a variety of colors and easy to use with antibodies or markers of cell function
•Easy—robust The staining protocol
Excellent fluorescence staining
Successful proliferation analysis using the dye dilution method requires extremely bright dyes to distinguish fluorescently labeled cells after multiple cell divisions and autofluorescence. CellTrace Yellow dye produces high-intensity fluorescent staining that enables visualization of six or more generations of proliferating cells before the cell's intrinsic autofluorescence masks the labeled fluorescent signal. This kit can achieve consistent and uniform staining results, with very little fluorescence variation between cells in the population, and cell generations can be clearly differentiated without the need for complex modeling software.
Long signal retention time
Unlike stains that label cell lipid membranes, CellTrace Yellow dye easily crosses the cell membrane and covalently binds to intracellular substances, even After several days of cell culture, the fluorescent dye is still well retained and relatively stable, providing a consistent fluorescent signal. CellTrace Yellow dye covalently binds to all free amines on the cell surface and within cells, is minimally cytotoxic, and has little impact on cell proliferative capacity or cell biology.
Easily multiplexed with other fluorophores
CellTrace Yellow dye has a yellow excitation wavelength of 546 nm and an emission wavelength of 579 nm, and because of its interaction with other common dyes such as Alexa Fluor™ 488 and FITC) and green fluorescent protein (GFP) have limited spectral overlap, making them ideal for multiplex analysis.

Simple and reliable staining protocol
CellTrace Far Infrared Cell Proliferation Kit contains dye powder in a convenient single-use vial for small-scale experiments without the need to prepare excess dye . Before use, dissolve the contents of the sample vial with anhydrous DMSO to prepare a stock solution. To stain cells in 1 mL of protein-free medium, typically use 1 µL of stock solution. Dye at room temperature for 20 minutes, stirring gently during dyeing. This is followed by a brief wash with complete medium and quenching of any remaining dye in the solution.
