2DCFDA succinimidyl ester (2',7'-di Chlorofluorescein diacetate (SE) is an amine-reactive detection reagent that can be used to prepare oxidation-sensitive conjugates of a variety of biomolecules and particles, including antibodies, antigens, peptides, proteins, dextran, Bacteria, yeast and polystyrene microspheres, etc. After OxyBURST™ Green H
2DCFDA is coupled to an amine, it is treated with hydroxylamine at neutral pH to remove the two acetate esters to form a dihydrofluorescein conjugate. OxyBURST™ Green H
2 DCFDA conjugate is nonfluorescent, but upon oxidation forms the corresponding fluorescein derivative.
ROS indicator quality standards:
• Ex/Em: ∼492–495/517–527 nm
• Product is sensitive to air and should be stored in dry argon or nitrogen Medium
• The product can be dissolved in DMSO, DMF or ethanol for use
• The indicator is permeable to cells (see the literature for cell loading protocols)
