About the Mini Gel Tank
The Mini Gel Tank is compatible with all Invitrogen Novex, NuPAGE and Bolt mini gels. Each mini gel tank can hold up to two gels at a time. The unique gel tank design allows for convenient parallel loading of gels, enhancing observation during use. Run times may vary depending on buffering conditions and power supply used.

About Novex Tricine Precast Gels
Novex Tricine Precast Gels provide effective separation of low molecular weight proteins. The Tricine system is an improvement on the Tris-glycine discontinuous buffer system developed by Schaegger and von Jagow and is specifically designed to resolve peptides and low molecular weight proteins. In this system, tricine replaces glycine in the electrophoresis buffer, allowing more efficient stacking and unstacking of low molecular weight proteins and better separation of small peptides within them.

Transfer
To transfer proteins to membranes, we recommend using Novex Tris-Glycine Transfer Buffer (LC3675) using the Mini Blotting Module (B1000 ) for traditional wet transfer. Alternatively, you can use the Invitrogen Power Blotter for fast semi-dry transfer or the iBlot 2 Gel Blotter (IB21001) for fast dry transfer.
