The Thermo Scientific RevertAid First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit contains sufficient reagents for 100 x 20 μL reactions. This product is a complete system for efficiently synthesizing first-strand cDNA using RNA as a template. It can synthesize cDNA up to 13kb long. This product contains RiboLock RNase inhibitor, which can effectively protect RNA templates from degradation.
Thermo Scientific RevertAid first-strand cDNA synthesis kit provides oligo(dT)18 primers and random hexamer primers. The oligo(dT)18 primer selectively binds to the poly (A) tail in mRNA. Random hexamer primers do not require a poly (A) tail, so they can transcribe the 5'-end region of mRNA, or use RNA without a poly (A) tail (such as micoRNA) as a template to synthesize cDNA. Gene-specific primers can also be used with this kit.
