TOPO™ XL-2 Complete PCR Cloning Kit provides all the necessary elements for efficient cloning of ultra-long PCR products (up to 13 kb) . This kit uses the linearized and topoisomerase 1-activated pCR™-XL-2-TOPO™ vector, which is compatible with the cloning of blunt-ended PCR fragments. Platinum™ SuperFi™ Green PCR Master Mix is included in the kit to amplify long PCR fragments. Activation of topoisomerase I on the vector allows you to ligate PCR products on the test bench in just 5 minutes, achieving high cloning efficiency (up to 90% positive recombination with a 10 kb fragment).

pCR-XL-2-TOPO vector contains:
•The ccdB gene for positive selection
•The PCR product insertion site is flanked by EcoR I sites for easy excision of the inserted fragment
•Ampicillin and kanamycin resistance genes for selection in E. coli screening experiments
•T7 promoter/primer sites for in vitro RNA transcription and sequencing
•For sequencing T7, T3 and M13 Forward and Reverse Primer Sites
