ProLong Gold Antifade Mounting Medium is a curing mounting medium that creates a near-perfect optical pathlength (1.47 RI), ensuring long-term storage of samples. Ready-to-use (store at room temperature and no mixing required)—just drop in sample, cover with slide, and ready to cure and image. ProLong Gold mounting medium is available with or without DAPI nuclear stain. It is not recommended to use ProLong Gold anti-fade mounting medium to mount samples containing fluorescent proteins (such as GFP). To provide excellent antifade protection for fluorescent proteins and fluorescent dyes, ProLong Diamond Antifade Mounting Medium is recommended.
