Thermo Scientific Pierce DTME is a medium length maleimide cross-linker that works by reducing the diamine in the center of the spacer arm. Sulfur bonds enable reversible covalent coupling between sulfhydryl groups, such as protein or peptide cysteines.

• Long (13.3A) cleavable thiol-thiol cross-linker composed of maleimide groups Composed of a group and an 11-atom disulfide spacer
• Insoluble in water—dissolve first in DMF or DMSO, then add to aqueous reaction buffer
•Disulfide can be reduced by DTT, TCEP or other reducing agents Spacer arm for cutting
