This human regulatory T cell staining kit contains CD4, CD4, All buffers and mAbs for CD25 and Foxp3.
RPA-T4 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD4, a 59 kDa glycoprotein present on the surface of most thymocytes, a subset of mature T cells (helper T cells). And its response level on monocytes is lower. BC96 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD25 (also known as interleukin-2 receptor alpha, IL-2R alpha), a 55 kDa surface protein expressed by early progenitors of T and B cells that upon maturation Becomes activated T cells and B cells, and is expressed at high levels on regulatory T cells. PCH101 monoclonal antibody reacts with the amino terminus of human Foxp3 (also known as forkhead box P3, SCURFIN, and JM2). Foxp3 is a 49-55 kDa protein that is a member of the forkhead/winged helix family of transcription factors. It is a gene that plays a major role in the common X-linked lymphoproliferative disease in scurfy (sf) mice and the common X-linked autoimmune-allergic disorder syndrome (XLAAD) in humans. Foxp3 mRNA has been shown to be constitutively expressed in CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells (Treg), and ectopic expression of Foxp3 in CD4+CD25- cells produces a Treg phenotype in these cells.
