GFP Fusion TOPO™ TA Expression Kit can be used to fuse related proteins to the cycle 3 GFP protein. These kits provide topoisomerase I-activated pcDNA3.1/NT-GFP-TOPO™ or pcDNA3.1/CT-GFP-TOPO™ vectors (Figure 1). Taq-amplified DNA fragments are ligated into these vectors in a simple 5-minute benchtop reaction. Vectors can be used to express transient or stable GFP fusion proteins at high levels in a variety of mammalian cells (Figure 2). Expression in living cells can be easily detected using fluorescence. Additionally, recombinant proteins expressed from these vectors can be detected by Western blotting using GFP Antiserum.
